In January 2023, the Explorer Cadets from Post 955 in Putnam County attended Winterfest in Gatlinburg, Tennessee for the first time! They were able to spend an action-packed weekend participating in skills competitions related to Law Enforcement. According to the cadets, they bonded as a team, built their confidence, tested their leadership skills, and, most importantly, had a successful, fun trip, even placing second in the “Unknown Trouble” event. The Cadets are already planning their trip for next year and researching potential fundraisers to bring those plans to fruition. Without Ten-24 Foundation, these young adults would not have had this opportunity for growth and further exploration of possible careers in law enforcement. Post 955 is grateful to Ten-24 donors and the Board of Directors!

Valentine's Day 2020 I was called by the Doctors office to come in as soon as possible for some tests.  A few short weeks later I was given the news that changed my life and the lives of my family forever. I was diagnosed with two types of Lymphoma and treatment was needed immediately.

My family and I were overwhelmed. Then a miracle happened in the way of the Ten-24 Foundation. The Foundation came to my family's aid and assisted with a financial gift that took the burden of worrying about our co-pay away and allowed us to focus entirely on the treatment needed. This miracle was a key factor in my positive outcome of the treatment.

The leading cause of death for law enforcement officers in the United States is not accidents or felonious assault. Sadly, it is suicide. Thanks to funding provided by Ten-24 Foundation, Putnam County Sheriff's Office was able to secure the services of a licensed mental health professional specializing in first responder stress and emotional trauma. Through these efforts, we have developed a peer counseling team and implemented national best practices in managing job-related stress in support of improved emotional wellness for our local heroes. PCSO is dedicated to providing a culture for our members and their families to safely reach out for help and thanks to the support of the Ten-24 Foundation help is always available.
